In the fast-evolving world of electric vehicles, the 2025 Kia EV6 continues to stand out as a top contender in the compact electric crossover segment. With its striking, futuristic design and refined, high-tech interior, the EV6 isn’t just an electric car, it’s a statement. Whether you’re commuting through Clovis or road-tripping from Fresno to Visalia, the 2025 Kia EV6 offers the performance, comfort, and efficiency today’s EV buyers demand. Available for sale in five versatile trims—Light, Light Long Range,Wind, GT-Line, and GT—the 2025 Kia EV6 gives drivers the freedom to choose what matters most: extended range or thrilling performance. For those focused on distance, select trims offer up to an EPA-estimated 319 miles of range, while performance seekers can opt for the GT model, which delivers a jaw-dropping 501 horsepower and rocket-like acceleration that rivals gas-powered sports cars. Charging is another area where the EV6 leads the pack. Thanks to its 400-volt architecture and rapid 240 kW charging speed, you can add up to 217 miles of range in just 18 minutes, making it one of the most road-trip-ready EVs in its class. At Future Kia of Clovis, we’re excited to help you explore what makes the 2025 Kia EV6 one of the most compelling electric crossovers on the market today. Join us as we dive into trim comparisons, range options, and performance features—and then come experience the EV6 for yourself with a test drive!

Performance, Range and Charging Time

The 2025 Kia EV6 offers a wide range of powertrains to meet the various needs of customers all over Fresno, Visalia, Madera and Hanford, from the base Light trim with a 63-kWh battery and modest 167 hp, to the range-topping GT, which produces up to 641 hp with Launch Control for a blistering 0–60 mph time of 3.4 seconds. Mid-level trims with the larger 84-kWh battery offer better performance and range: 225 hp in RWD form or 320 hp with AWD. The ride is sporty and fun, and AWD models provide confident grip. The GT enhances your driving experience with adaptive suspension, simulated gear shifts, and dramatic acceleration, making it exciting both on twisty roads and racetracks. Drivers can choose from four drive modes and five levels of regenerative braking, including a one-pedal “i-Pedal” mode for aggressive deceleration. Range has slightly improved for the 2025 Ki EV6, with RWD long-range trims hitting up to 319 miles, while the GT remains around 218 miles. Charging is a strong suit as most trims support up to 240 kW, adding over 200 miles in a mere 18 minutes. All but the GT now include a Tesla-style NACS charging port, expanding fast-charging convenience if road tripping is your thing.

Interior Highlights

The 2025 Kia EV6 blends sporty hatchback styling with SUV practicality, offering a spacious, flat-floored cabin and impressive legroom, though rear headroom is limited due to its sloped roofline. The front seats are well-padded and supportive, with the GT model adding sportier buckets and fun neon accents. While its 24.4 cu ft cargo area appears modest on paper, the EV6 proves surprisingly practical in real-world loading compared to other popular EV rivals. Inside, the infotainment system gets a visual and functional update for 2025. The new interface adds features like a multi-tile home screen, it sacrifices some usability—screen-splitting is gone, and some info displays are now less intuitive. The dual-function control bar under the screen remains a pleasing feature, allowing you to operate both the infotainment system and climate controls with the touch of your hand so your eyes can stay on the road.

Trim Offerings

For sale at only a slight price increase from the 2024 model year, the 2025 Kia EV6 is now available in five trims. The entry-level Light trim is the only model to come standard with a 62.9-kWh short-range battery, while all other trims—including the Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT—feature the larger 84-kWh long-range battery. Let’s review the highlights of each trim here. The Light (Short Range) comes well equipped and at an attractive price point. Standard features include 19-inch wheels, flat-black exterior trim, power-folding mirrors, automatic pop-out door handles, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Inside, you'll find fabric and faux leather seating, an eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, and heated front seats. Tech highlights include a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and matching 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, navigation, a six-speaker audio system, SiriusXM, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless phone charging, and a generous assortment of USB ports (one USB-A and two USB-C in front, plus two USB-C ports in the rear). Stepping up to the Light Long Range not only gets you the more powerful motor and bigger battery but also offers the option of all-wheel drive. AWD variants of this trim and above include added comfort features like heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and a heat pump system for more efficient winter driving. Optional packages add advanced safety tech like parking and blind-spot cameras, a reverse parking collision avoidance system, and the option for an external vehicle-to-load (V2L) connector—allowing the car to power 120-volt devices such as tools or appliances. The Wind trim builds on the Light's features and available packages. It adds a power liftgate, an enhanced forward collision warning system, upgraded adaptive cruise control with evasive steering assist, gloss-black exterior trim, and faux leather seating with memory settings for the driver. The front passenger seat gains power adjustment and lumbar support, while both front seats are heated and ventilated. A built-in V2L outlet under the rear seat is also included. The GT-Line showcases appearance upgrades and premium features. It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, body-colored trim, a sunroof, distinctive interior detailing, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a head-up display, and a Meridian premium sound system. Simulated suede upholstery is also available as an option. At the top of the range, the high-performance GT trim transforms the EV6 into a true electric sport machine. It features dual motors that deliver significantly more power, 21-inch wheels with performance tires, larger brakes with neon yellow calipers, and a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers. Your driving experience is further enhanced with simulated gear shifts and an electronic limited-slip differential. The GT also stands out visually with unique front and rear fascias, gold interior accents, and sport seats trimmed in simulated suede with neon green stitching.
